History
Our family moved to Palm Springs in 1977 from the east coast of Rhode Island. My father Leopold Giard took great pride in his work as a stone mason. He was not a fan of the cold weather so he decided to move his family to the Golden State. After we arrived in Palm Springs in July 1977, he started working for a local tile and stone company. In 1980 Leopold was ready to launch on his own and founded California Cutting and Manufacturing, Inc. and earned a stellar reputation for his workmanship and custom designs. When my father retired 1990, I established Creative Marble & Granite to carry on the family legacy and build upon what I learned throughout the years working side by side with him. Today, I continue to always remember that the only way to stay in business in the Coachella Valley is to always provide the best quality and the best customer service at a fair price.

My name is Sylvain Giard, I've lived here in beautiful Palm Springs since 1977. I've always loved the desert and all that it has to offer and that is why I take pride in my work and business here.
